Connecting to devices on the local network

Some browsers have strengthened their privacy and network permissions, and in this context they may now ask for permission to connect to the local network:

The message “Look for and connect to devices on the local network” appears when a network or web application attempts to use the Local Network Access API. To prevent misuse, some browsers will now explicitly request permission for this.

For your customer solution to load all necessary functionality, it is required that this connection is allowed.

Therefore, select Allow when this message appears.

If Block was previously selected, this can be changed by clicking “View site information” at the beginning of the address bar. Then grant the desired permission.
